Also, look for any toxic links. If you find any, put them up for removal. Get Backups: Set your schedule to take the backup of your website weekly or bi-weekly. It is critical in case there is a malware attack on your website.  Update wordpress and plugins: Regularly update your WordPress and its plugins. Every now and then, new updates need to be accepted to get the website running in the best condition.  Forms and checkout process functionality: Almost all websites have some contact forms or lead capturing funnels. Ensure that these funnels are working correctly. Google will not rank a site whose contact forms are not working.  Analyzing Search rankings: SEO teams should be looking at search control data almost daily. It tells them what’s working and what’s not. Where they have to focus more and the hurdles in their ranking opportunities.  Promotive Activities   The promotive segment is mainly related to clients already undergoing an SEO campaign.  Publish fresh content: Add new content to the website every week. If you can add two blogs per week, that’s best. Before writing a blog, research the best ranking keywords.  Run PPC Ads: Although you are running an SEO campaign, a side PPC campaign can be of great help. Here’s why. We know that the SEO campaign will take time. In the meantime, if you can kick in with a PPC campaign and produce results for y our clients, that becomes a confidence-boosting environment for the client.  Generate backlinks: Don’t forget to do link building. Guest posting is the best way to generate backlinks.  Reporting Activities   All your hard work goes to waste if it’s not shared with the clients. Share even the tiniest of achievements or stuff you do for your clients. Following is a list of things you can share with an already running client.  Share viral posts with clients: Share the screenshots with the clients if any of your social media posts get good traction.  Share backlink progress with clients: Your backlink reports show the clients that a lot of work is being done at the back end. Share a backlink report every two weeks if possible. Also, share the impact of these backlinks t the site’s domain authority in the long run.  Share Uber suggests keyword rankings: You can use any keyword tool of your choice. Share keyword rank improvements with the client. We use UberSuggest, so we use a directly generated report from uber suggest.  Share improved conversion data: This is the most crucial report of all. As a marketer, you know what matters to your client the most. Let’s say it’s the web leads and phone calls generated from the website. Share a web lead conversion and phone call report with the client daily or weekly.  Report any website changes: Share all web maintenance work you do and any design changes with the clients.  Signing up with an SEO client is not the complete story. Social media engagement is a different genre, but the crux of the meaning in both remains the same.   What is Engagement, and what is Engagement on Instagram exclusively?   It’s essential to know these terminologies before getting into the methodologies. Engagement means building a connection between two entities. On Instagram, Engagement means how your profile or company page can interact with the sea of followers and non-followers around you.    Why Do You Need Instagram Engagement?   There are three types of accounts on Instagram. Personal Account Creator Account Business or Professional Account You may have a different of the three accounts, but the need for Engagement could be the same. Any three Instagram account types can desire to have leads, sales, and business revenue as their goal. A personal account is mainly used by individuals who have o business intent. Creator account is for professionals with business intent but as individuals. The business Instagram profile is for showcasing businesses or brand pages.     How to Do Instagram Engagement in 2022?   Instagram’s Engagement goes early as when it was launched on October 6, 2010. Initially, Instagram was only a photo-sharing app, and it had less to do with written content. With time features like stories and reels, IGTV has been integrated into the platform and made it more diverse and engagement-friendly.  As the Instagram membership grew and became more content friendly, engagement tactics were needed to win the constantly advancing algorithm. What role do followers play? They kickstart your post. Your followers will react with the content and kickstart as it enters the universe of random profiles.  Organic is a new way; organic is the only way. Do not fool the algorithm by buying fake followers or generating fake likes. The new algorithm will penalize your profile, de-rank it, or even disable your account forever.      The deception of the algorithm is a myth. I still see some people trying to sell me on it’s a good boost for your profile. Well. I’m happy with my 1200 organic followers than 5000 fake.      Search profiles and hashtags of your niche. Let us support it, and I would search hashtags like #seotips or #marketingtips because I know that people following or using these hashtags are also the people I want to Engagement with for my profile enhancement.      I will go into the recent post section for these hashtags. Now I will start with the most recent post and see if it has some value or content that could be commendable.  I will like that post, comment on it, be relevant to the post’s content, and reshare the post if it goes with my brand strategy of the Instagram profile.  In the same way, now I will move further to the following post. I will do 5-7 comments of these types in one go and then break around 4 to 6  hours. After 4 to 6 hours, I’ll perform the 5-6 engagement activities again.    Here is an example of the comment I would make! 10-12 of such comments are enough every day to post fresh and unique content. You can also go into your insight section and see how many people have visited your profile and their follow rate. A profile follow-rate can be calculated by (Followers / Visitors) x 100.   The Follow Un-Follow Strategy   The follow unfollow strategy works only if done on a very minute scale. The method is simple. You follow 10 people, 4 follow you back, and you unfollow the remaining 6. Follow rate, in this case, is 40%. Follow pace can be higher or lower depending on the audience you are pitching to. Doing too much of this strategy can also disable your account, so I would not highly recommend it for follower growth. People you engage with or talk to, following them is a whole different scenario.   Conclusion   I hope you have learned a few new tricks in this blog. Or can you run like a machine for months? or even years.  So far, we have discussed factors related to mindset and mental determination, and rightly so because success starts from the perspective and the way you dream yourself to be in the future.  After covering these corners, I now work on creating a definite plan. My plan is a detailed description of SMART goals and how I would achieve them.    A draft of my goals sheet look like these: Complete the ebook on PPC ads by the 12th of March  Revise PA client’s PPC ad campaign with the new smart ad strategy Meeting with the SEO team for the new FHE launch on Friday Arrange daughters birthday celebrations by next Tuesday Visit Islamabad for realtor meeting coming weekend …. …. And so on.     The key here and how I can handle this much workload is the sheer organization of tasks both in my head and on paper.  Tools I use to organize my diverse projects are sticky notes, Google calendar, Google voice reminders, a personal diary, and most importantly, my wife.  They rightly say that a wife is behind every successful man. Yes, my wife is significant support for the heavy lifting of a busy schedule. She keeps me motivated, aligned, and focused on my priorities. No AI tool can beat the responsivity of your spouse who wants to help you succeed.  I once read the book by Rory Vaden, ‘Walk the stairs.’ His procrastination hierarchy is the golden tool that made me deliberately leave tasks on purpose. And it taught me how to grasp control of my routine and personal assets.  I developed a mindset over time that getting tasks done today brings a vacuum in the future for new jobs to be completed. This little thought increased my productivity by 100%.   All being said, I have to mention here for juniors in the field, if you are new to your domain, you will take more time than usual, so don’t be critical of yourselves. When you develop the art of your skill, time becomes a treasure, and you start getting credit for that.  After my work hours finish around 5:30 to 6, I leave every thought on the table and spend my much-needed family time, and it prolongs till late nights at times. I cover this by working late at night and reducing the time from the sleep hours.  Somehow my body has readjusted to sleeping 3-4 hours a day, still being the same workaholic. I gain my missed hours of sleep on a random weekend, and brain strength looks normal to me again.  I always keep my work laptop with me so I am on top of all emails and projects at all times. I always tell the team that Slack is the backbone of our agency. My teams are working remotely and in-person but smartly connected through SLACK, which honestly I love using. If you love what you do, work becomes fun, which probably has happened to me. I can be my workaholic self and still enjoy what I do. This way, I don’t feel the pain and can keep all corners covered. I also tend to use voice features on my smartphone more than I used to. Half of my businesses run on my smartphone, so I have the fasted one in town. I have used the ONE Plus 7 pro, then 8 Pro. It’s working like fire; I am just waiting for the One Plus 10 Pro to launch because it can take on my fire right where I left. Anyways.
